Tony Chiarenza is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Key Equity Investors, Inc., a firm he founded over twelve years ago to focus on the management of investments in small capitalization equity securities. Investing in small companies based on a classic “Graham and Dodd” approach has been Tony’s passion for over twenty five years. He has established two other investment banking and trading organizations in joint ventures with Zurich Insurance and CNA Insurance. He has extensive Wall Street experience and during his career he has held senior positions with Salomon Brothers, The First Boston Corporation, Kidder Peabody, Marsh & McLennan and The St. Paul Companies. During his career he has specialized in the management, trading and hedging of derivative security portfolios (futures, options, insurance derivatives and fixed income derivatives), new product development, marketing, and development of trading models.
He received an MBA degree with Distinction in Finance from New York University in 1986 and a BS degree with Highest University Honors in Engineering Chemistry from Stony Brook University in 1981.
